Florida Road Trip: Jacksonville to Key West

As soon as school was out for break last summer, I took a solo trip to Key West. I’m currently living in Jacksonville, FL which about as far north you can go in Florida before reaching Georgia. Key West is the farthest south you can go not only in Florida, but it’s the southernmost point in the contiguous states. So, I drove the roughly 500 miles along Florida’s east coast.

There’s nothing special about this post. I simply wanted to post some pictures I took along the way. I made hotel stops in Cocoa Beach and Key Largo on the way down. On the way up, I stopped at Blowing Rocks Preserve to see one of the few rocky beaches in Florida.

Also, fun fact: I have officially been to both the the far northwest corner of the the continental US as well as the far southeast corner. And I drove the entire way.
